Philip Nuzzo. The date is Saturday, May 19, 8 p.m., the concerto is
Mozart's ebullient No. 19 in F major, K. 459, the venue is St. Ann's Church, 157
Montague Street, Brooklyn Heights (2, 3, 4, 5, N trains; the R train takes you
right to the door of the church). In addition to Mozart, works by Salieri,

Brandon Peter Masterman's "'This Is How They Do Not Like It': Queer Abjection in Gertrude Stein and Virgil
Thomson's Four Saints in Three Acts" has been named the winner of the chapter's student paper prize for 2011/12. Brandon is a graduate student working on his PhD in Musicology
with a certificate in Gender and Sexuality Studies at the University of
Pittsburgh. He presented his paper at the winter meeting.
