The next meeting of the Greater New York Chapter will be Saturday, April 27th, at Columbia University.
The theme for the meeting is "Music and...." We are seeking some additional proposals on interdisciplinary connections between music and other subjects. Send proposals by April 4th to both DrJSDailey@aol.com and jonathan.waxman@gmail.com.
We are also looking for a new student member for the Executiive Board. This person needs to be enrolled in a graduate program in a school in the greater New York area. The student member serves for two years, and, during that time, in addition to helping out at meetings, represents the students of the chapter at the annual meeting. In return, the national office and the chapter both give the student member money to help offset attendance at the national conference. Interested students should send a letter of interest via e mail to the chapter president at DrJSDailey@aol.com by April 11th.
