The spring meeting of the Greater New York Chapter will take place on Saturday, April 25th, at the Juilliard School. The theme of the meeting is “Music and Fantasy.” The keynote speaker will be William Germano, Dean of Humanities at Cooper Union. He will speak about operatic adaptations of “The Tempest.”
Members of the ASMGNY who wish to present their research at this meeting should do the following:
Send an abstract to both DrJSDailey@aol.com and jonathan.waxman@gmail.com. Include “AMSGNY Spring 2015” in the subject line.
The abstract should be pasted in the e mail. Do not send attachments.
Include contact information--both e mail address and phone number.
Include a sentence or two explaining how your proposal fits the theme of the meeting. Send the proposals by March 15th.
