The Winter Meeting of the AMSGNY will take place on Saturday, February 8th, at Columbia University. We invite proposals on any musical topic. If you have an idea for a presentation, please send an abstract (200-300 words) to both DrJSDailey "at" aol.com and jonathan.waxman "at" gmail.com by December 10th. Please paste the abstract into the e mail--no attachments. Include your name, phone number and e mail address, and put "AMSGNY--Winter 2020" in the subject line. Students are eligible for the chapter's student prize and are encouraged to participate in this meeting--there is no set theme, so any topic is acceptable.
