The Spring Meeting of the Greater New York Chapter of the American Musicological Society will take place on Saturday, April 4th, at New York University, in room 320 of the Silver Center (which used to be called Main Building). Proposals on any musical topic are solicited for this meeting. A special invitation is extended to students, and the award for the student prize will be chosen based on participation in this meeting. Please send 200-250 word proposals by March 10th to both DrJSDailey "at" aol.com and jonathan.waxman "at" gmail.com. Note that the meeting is earlier this year, and, consequently, the time frame for submitting proposals is truncated, so please send them in as expeditiously as possible.
We will also have our annual business meeting during this event and lunch will be served.
