We are planning on having the fall meeting of the AMSGNY on Saturday afternoon, November 5th. This is the week before the national meeting, so you can think of it as a warm-up for that, or as a replacement if you're not going to New Orleans. While many chapters are holding their meetings in person, this one will be online. We will address the possibility of holding future meetings in person once we find out which institutions are allowing outside groups on campus again.
We invite you to submit proposals for the fall meeting, by sending an abstract for your proposed presentation (around 250 words), along with a brief biography, to both jdailey "at" gts.edu and jonathan.waxman "at" gmail.com. Please send them by September 21st. We are looking for studies in any area of musical scholarship.
This meeting will take place online.
